Sables Zoo

The second largest tourist site in the Vendée, the Sables d’Olonne Zoo is an ecological island of greenery covering 3 hectares. An environmental policy has been put in place to limit its negative impact on the environment: composting, use of recycled materials, limiting the use of toxic products…..
In a natural and green environment, it houses nearly 360 animals belonging to about fifty endangered species: giraffes, pandas, lions, gibbons, parrots.
