Pointe du Payré

The Pointe du Payré is one of the most beautiful walks in the Vendée. By surveying this territory, property of the coastal conservatory, it is possible to discover one of the most beautiful forests of green oaks of the Atlantic coast. The plants living there have many adaptations to the sea spray and the soil. They then offer multiple shapes and colors. By taking a path overhanging the cliffs, it is possible to approach the geological history of the south Vendée. The different geological strata offer us colors varying from blue to ochre. However, the strong anthropic pressure makes this cliff retreat little by little, which if it is not protected, could very quickly disappear.
