Oyster farms
In the heart of the Payré Estuary, the Guittière oyster farming area unfolds under the action of the tides. The Guittière oyster, because of its color and the sweetness of its taste, has made the reputation of the area. Indeed, the channel abounds in specific phytoplankton linked to the brackish character of the site and thus giving it all its particularities.
Guided tour on reservation (duration 2 hours) which will end with a tasting of oysters, the whole accompanied by local wine, bread, lemon and butter. This convivial moment takes place in an old Salorge (salt storehouse), also a place of exhibition.
