A 28.5 km loop to discover our heritage
This loop honors the figure of Richard the Lionheart, King of England, Count of Poitou and Duke of Aquitaine. This historic figure left a strong mark on the region.
It is recommended to start the tour from one of the four entrances: Talmont-Saint-Hilaire town center, La Guittière harbor, Sainte Radégonde church or Jard-sur-Mer town center. At each entrance to the circuit, an information panel describes the route and points of interest. The tour can be taken in any direction.

Take advantage of the town’s three markets to discover fresh, authentic products: the Place des Ormeaux food market, open year-round from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Rue de l’Océan gourmet market (July-August) from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Nocturnes du Port, a lively market from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., to discover in summer.
